For twenty years I've worked at the intersection of commerce and creativity.

I've been a partner, a mentor, a producer, a facilitator.

I've led major campaigns and garnered industry praise working on some of the world’s most influential brands, including Visa, Pepsi, FedEx, GE and AT&T.

I've partnered with REI to spread the love for outdoors.

I've worked with climate change groups to help raise awareness and encourage action.

Along the way I've embraced change and helped drive brands forward with the most innovative use of new platforms and technologies.

And yet I still prefer actual, printed books. Go figure.

I’ve worked in advertising for a bit, as a writer and creative director. I’m pretty good at it, I think - better than many, not as good as others. I’m created some campaigns that I’m extremely proud of, others that I’m just as happy to forget. I am certain, at least, that I’m a skilled writer and an empathetic leader and a generous colleague. And it feels good knowing that I’ve been able to make a living by putting my creativity to work. Being creative is, for me, just like breathing and it would sustain me even without the paycheck. But I do appreciate the paycheck.
